Richard is currently working as the DWU Assistant Secretary.

He has extensive experience and skills and has been with the DWU for 16 years (and with the Dairy Industry for 2o+ years).

His working background is in Farming, Forestry, Computers and Dairy. Prior to joining the DWU, he worked in the Fonterra Lichfield cheese brine plant from 2001 through to 2008 and was the Site Delegate from 2003 until he accepted the position as a DWU Organiser.  Richard became as the DWU Organising Director in 2022.  He was appointed to the DWU Assistant Secretary position in March 2026.
